Scented Soy Candle FAQS

What type of candle wax do we use and why?

Our candles are made of top-grade soy wax, including the NVSoy™ wax developed by Candlewealth International and other top quality soy wax products from other top manufacturers. Each brand of soywax we use, we research very carefully, so we can deliver a superior product that has a longlasting scent throw, a low melting point, and a long duration burn time. We will not purchase what we feel is an inferior wax to cut corners or do anything else that will compromise the integrity and quality of our end product.

Soywax is derived from the oil of the soybeans grown by American farmers states such as Iowa and Alabama. Each batch of candles is made by our family in our home kitchen and undergoes numerous tests in order to ensure that you receive the very best quality scented candle we can produce. Wick selection is appropriate for its container to give you the best burn time and scent throw possible. In the end you get an American product made by an American family!

Our candles burn from edge to edge of your container to give you the best quality burn available and these candles burn on average 10 hours per ounce. We pour all of our candles at a low temperature, stirring often during the cooling process to ensure that the scent at the bottom of your candle will be as pleasing as it was when you first lit it. Our wicks are completely lead free and we have over 70 different scents to select from and are always adding more. If you have a favorite scent that we do not have, please email us and we will be glad to obtain the scent and do a candle to your specifications. Custom orders are welcome at any time. The same goes for our soaps - if you have seen a particular soap design or candle design we do not offer, please contact us and let us know what you need. We will do our best to find it for you!

Candles and soap will vary slightly in appearance. Some fragrances and colors will produce a creamy looking item, while others will produce a white "frosting" effect to them. This is a characteristic of this natural wax and is perfectly normal. It does not affect the candle or soap in any way other than how it looks, and is not considered a flaw.
